Advertiser Disclosure
At Free My Solar, we believe homeowners should know how our website works and whether any company influences what we say. This page explains our position.
1. Who We Are
Free My Solar reviews solar contracts, gives homeowners general guidance about their agreements, and offers a free consultation. We are not a law firm, and we do not cancel, terminate, or negotiate solar contracts.
2. No Affiliations
Free My Solar is independent. We are not owned by, partnered with, or affiliated with any solar installer, lender, law firm, or solar cancellation company.
3. No Paid Placements or Referral Fees
We do not accept payment from any company to mention, recommend, or rank it. We do not receive referral fees or commissions for sending homeowners to any company. When we mention a solar company on our website, it is for informational purposes only and is not an endorsement.
4. Our Free Consultation
Our contract review and consultation are free for homeowners. Requesting a review does not obligate you to anything.
5. Advertising and Sponsored Content
Free My Solar does not currently display paid advertising or publish sponsored content. If that changes, all advertising and sponsored content will be clearly labeled and kept separate from our educational content.
6. Editorial Independence
Our articles, guides, and consultations are based on research and the terms of each homeowner’s agreement. No outside company reviews or approves our content before it is published. Our research standards are described on our Methodology page.
7. Updates to This Disclosure
If our business practices or relationships ever change, we will update this page before or at the time of the change.
